Chamonix Ski Passes Terms & Conditions 2025/26

Terms & Conditions of Sale

Version: November 2025

1. Parties and Definitions

Chamonix Ski Passes” (“the Company”) is a trading name of AD & Co. Holdings Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. [insert number], Registered Office: [insert address]).
The Company acts solely as an agent for La Compagnie du Mont-Blanc SA (“the Issuer”), the lift operating company.
The person purchasing ski passes (“the Buyer”) enters into two distinct legal relationships:

  • (a) A purchase and delivery contract with the Company, limited to the ordering and supply of lift passes; and

  • (b) A usage contract with the Issuer, governed by the Issuer’s own terms and conditions, available at https://www.montblancnaturalresort.com.

2. Formation of Contract

A binding contract between the Buyer and the Company is created when the Company issues an order confirmation.
The Company’s role is limited to purchasing passes from the Issuer and arranging delivery by:

  • postal mail, courier, hand delivery, or collection for Early Bird passes; or

  • electronic means (QR code) for all other passes.

3. Scope of the Company’s Obligations

The Company’s responsibility is strictly limited to the purchase and delivery of ski passes.
It does not operate any ski lifts, facilities, or ski areas, nor does it control or guarantee:

  • the operational availability of lifts or ski areas;

  • snow conditions, weather, or resort closures;

  • the validity, duration, or refundability of the passes; or

  • the Issuer’s pricing, refund, or cancellation policies.

All such matters are the sole responsibility of the Issuer.

4. Liability and Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Company gives no warranties (express or implied) as to the performance, operation, or availability of ski lifts, or the suitability of the passes.

  • The Company is not liable for loss, damage, delay, or non-performance caused by the Issuer, weather, government restrictions, pandemics, or other external factors.

  • The Company’s maximum liability to the Buyer shall not exceed the total amount paid for the ski passes (excluding card fees or bank charges).

The Buyer acknowledges that the Company acts as an intermediary only, and accepts that the Issuer bears all responsibility for the use and operation of ski passes.

5. Buyer Obligations and Required Information

The Issuer requires personal details (full name, date of birth) for each passholder, and a passport-style photograph for passes of nine (9) days or longer, or for any passes purchased under the Early Bird or E-gloo Assurance schemes.

Such information must be provided within five (5) days of purchase.
Failure to do so will render the order cancelled by the Buyer with no right to refund or credit.

6. Payment Terms

  • Orders paid by bank transfer must be received as cleared funds at least one (1) full day before the first ski day. Failure to do so will be treated as cancellation by the Buyer without refund.

  • Orders paid by credit or debit card after 18:00 local time the day before skiing may not be fulfilled in time for lift opening. The Company accepts no liability for loss of ski time or replacement costs.

7. Non-Transferable Passes

All ski passes are personal and non-transferable.
Use by any person other than the named holder may result in cancellation without refund and potential penalties imposed by the Issuer.

8. QR Code Issuance and Non-Modification

Once a QR code or confirmation email has been issued, the passes are final and non-refundable.
No modifications (dates, names, durations) are possible. Passes are for continuous use from the first day selected.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund requests must be directed exclusively to the Issuer, whose policies govern all refunds.

  • The Company cannot issue refunds under any circumstances but will assist the Buyer in communicating with the Issuer where possible.

Exceptional Circumstances

The Issuer may consider refunds only in exceptional cases such as:

  • full ski area closure due to weather, technical failure, or force majeure;

  • government restrictions or lockdowns.
    Refund eligibility and processing are at the Issuer’s sole discretion.

Goodwill Assistance

The Company may, at its discretion, offer goodwill assistance to help buyers seek refunds from the Issuer, but this does not create any legal obligation or liability.

If a refund is successfully negotiated, the Company will deduct:

  • 10% of the total pass, badge and insurance cost from the booking amount (standard administration fee), or

  • 20% if the request arises under force majeure.

Under no circumstances can processing fees be refunded

10. Early Bird Passes

Early Bird passes are strictly non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable.
No changes will be made once issued. Buyers are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering illness, injury, or non-use of passes.

11. Delivery of Physical Passes

Where physical passes are delivered by tracked or registered mail:

  • The Company will provide the tracking reference and proof of dispatch;

  • The Company bears no responsibility for postal or courier delays, losses, or non-delivery once handed to the carrier;

  • No replacements, exchanges, or refunds will be made for undelivered passes;

  • The Buyer is strongly advised to have travel insurance covering loss, theft, or delay of ski passes.

  • Most passes will be delivered by email and QR code, for collection in resort

12. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, or government-imposed restrictions.
Obligations shall be suspended during such events. If the event persists beyond the pass validity period, the agreement shall terminate without liability.

13. Card Payments and Fraud Protection

The Buyer is responsible for safeguarding payment card information.
The Company will cooperate with legitimate fraud investigations but is not liable for unauthorized card use or chargebacks initiated by card issuers.
Disputes regarding unauthorized use must be resolved between the Buyer and their card issuer.

14. Dispute Resolution

  1. The Buyer should first contact info@chamonixskipasses.com with details of any complaint.

  2. The Company will review and respond in writing within a reasonable period.

  3. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to an independent ombudsman or UK small claims court.

15. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
If any clause is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. General Notice

The Buyer confirms they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and those of the Issuer.
